This Course has been specially designed to introduce you to the basics of Diamond Grading.
With step-by-step guidance you will handle and view Diamonds using standard Diamond grading tools and learn important and fascinating information about the world of diamonds from an experienced Gemmologist and Diamond Grader.
Although this is a wide subject area, this is an ideal introductory course and overview suitable for Diamond or Gemmology Enthusiasts or Jewellers / Jewellery Makers.
A very helpful preliminary course for anyone considering undertaking a Gem-A Diamond Diploma qualification course in future.

What is the course date?
For this course dates are arranged regularly throughout the year. If we do not have a course date in the diary when you ask we will arranged a course date to suit you, subject to tutor availability.
Tuition Hours: 6; ​Start time 9.30am; Finish time 4.30pm. Lunch break is included, bring your own lunch
About the Course Fee
Courses are priced individually because the course fee is based upon the fee a tutor charges to take a day out their industry/trade work to teach.
About Tuition
In-Studio Course Tuition

Gem material and all gemmology equipment and Tools are provided by the tutor.
​
Up to 4 students may be attending this course, but it will still run regardless of student numbers attending, in which case you will benefit from more tuition time with the tutor.
Booking/Payment Information
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by BACS Bank Transfer invoicing (IBAN SWIFT or Paypal for International students).

Instalments
Some courses are available to pay in instalments, whereby a non-refundable deposit is required to book your course date. Please ask for details if this is of interest to you.
Booking Information

Once you have booked a cancellation fee of *£95 will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.

Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for one other date if you wish.

Should we need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund your course fee in full. Please note, travel and accommodation booked is not eligible for a refund/reimbursement, if you are worried about this we recommend you contact your own Insurer for advice.
