Dawn Meaden-Johnson is the Director of The Bespoke Jewellery Training Company which she founded in 2014. Dawn is also a graduate Silversmith of the School of Jewellery in Birmingham and she also worked there as short course project manager for almost 10 years.
​​Dawn has over 25 years’ experience working in all areas of the Jewellery Industry including working for 10 years in Jewellery Retail sector in sales, merchandising/pricing and customer service for Signet Group Ltd (H Samuel). Since 2004 she has added to her skill set specifically in Jewellery training as a consultant and Jewellery Business Mentoring and Marketing & SEO, which gives her a wide skill set across a variety of areas within the Jewellery Industry.
Dawn has made, exhibited and sold her own Jewellery and she does still very occasionally makes Contemporary Jewellery.

This spotlight mentoring session specifically focuses on the basics of how to market and sell your Jewellery online and providing trust for to remove any customer doubt if they engage with your designs.

We have designed this Mentoring into two sessions for you as follows, which cover the essential and important aspects for creating a successful Jewellery business.
Session 1 | TRUST
Your first important introduction session provides the starting point for you to refine/ build a sound foundation for your Jewellery Business and this covers trust and credibility.
​A) Your mentor will generally review your selling platform before your first session and then discuss important areas for improving client perception with a view to attracting sales. How you are perceived online is critical for proving your expertise and credibility as a Jeweller, and getting the basics right for this is the first very important building block for any successful Jewellery Business.

B) Pricing and the Market Place an how to create a pricing blueprint
Session 2 | SELLING
C) Customers: Who they are , what their expectations are and how to attract them.
D) Design: The importance of commercial ranges.
E) Strategies for adding value and attracting new customer types. Upselling opportunities.

Mentoring Programme - Additional Information
Booking Information
​
Once you have booked a Mentoring Programme a cancellation fee of £95 for Spotlight Mentoring or £250 for 6 or a 9 Month Mentoring programme will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your Mentoring up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the programme start date once your payment has been received.
Cancellations received within 14 days of the programme start date are not eligible for a refund, however you may rearrange your start date for another date within 3 months of the original date if you wish.
Should we need to cancel your Mentoring programme before the start due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund your payment in full, or proportionally for any sessions we are not able to deliver if a cancellation is unavoidable mid-programme.
Video Meeting Arrangements

All video meeting date sessions including the first one are arranged to suit you. Contact is spaced over the duration of your Mentoring programme with guidance from your Mentor to allow you time to make decisions or action any planning, alongside your normal Jewellery Business practice.
​
If you need to rearrange a meeting date you may do so, on the understanding this may extend your programme finish date.
You can extend the finish date of your programme by adding in more time between each session if you wish.
​
Video meeting times are generally between 10.30am GMT and 4pm but we can be a little flexible with this.
The last available meeting start time 4pm.
Live video meeting are via WhatsApp.
You will be messaged 5 minutes before your meeting to ensure you are ready and your Mentor will video call you via WhatsApp video call at the assigned meeting time.

Programme Payment & Instalments Option

We send you an invoice for the Mentoring programme and your payment is required in advanced by BACS Bank Transfer.

International students must pay by Paypal and an admin fee applies which we will advise you of in advance of your payment.

Vat is not applicable.

Instalment Payments

You may pay in two instalments if you wish. If you do this a non-refundable deposit of ££95 for up to 6 Hours Mentoring or £250 for the 6 or 9 Month Mentoring Programme. Accordingly these amounts will be your first payment.

Your balance payment must be received 10 working days before your session start date/time or your first meeting session with be postponed and re-arranged upon receipt of payment.
