Course Description
The level of accuracy, finesse and speed with which you fabricate a handmade metal master model for moulding and casting has immediate effect on the profit margin of the finished piece of jewellery.

With this in mind this course has been designed to provide you with tips of the trade to help you reduce making time, whilst maintaining quality and design characteristics.
​
Using their own master models in process to demonstrate, the tutor will explain how to develop a model perfect for casting and the methods you can employ to make your production run easier to manage and time efficient.
​
You may bring along some of your own models for discussion if you wish.

This is not a practical course; you will be in discussion with an experienced and successful commercial jeweller to gain an understanding and identify where you can improve your own practise.

What is the course date?
All private tuition courses are arranged upon request on a date to suit you, subject to tutor availability.
We will provides some course dates for you to choose from or you can ask about a course date of day of the week preference.
About the Course Fee
Courses are priced individually because the course fee is based upon the fee a tutor charges to take a day out their trade works to teach.
About Materials
NOT INCLUDED: No Metals, base or precious or gemstones are included in the course fee.
This is because Bespoke Courses are tailored to suit individual makers needs and their individual progress on the day of teaching. Therefore the amount of materials you use on the day cannot be determined in advance, and you pay the tutor direct on the day for the metal you use for practise or you may obtain tutor guidance and bring your own.
Booking/Payment Information
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by BACS Bank Transfer invoicing (IBAN SWIFT or PayPal for International students).

Instalments
Some courses are available to pay in instalments, whereby a non-refundable deposit is required to book your course date. Please ask for details if this is of interest to you.
Booking Information

Once you have booked a cancellation fee of *£95 will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.

Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for one other date if you wish.

Should we need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund your course fee in full. Please note, travel and accommodation booked is not eligible for a refund/reimbursement, if you are worried about this we recommend you contact your own Insurer for advice.
