Award winning and renowned Silversmith Peter uses an extraordinary combination of traditional silversmithing techniques, alongside controlled digital, laser and engineering processes to create sophisticated and complex Silverware.
His workspace could be described as a Silversmiths laboratory with research and mathematics playing an important role in his design methodology. His often layered Silverware explores sumptuous decorative surfaces combined with elegant forms.

An MA graduate of The Royal College of Art in 2003, his use of technology and tooling alongside more traditional Silversmithing methods has enabled Peter to create Silver works of Art that form part of important Collections and/or Commissions at The British Museum, V & A Museum and National Museum of Scotland and others. He has also conducted research for national and international clients working on projects for both Jewellery related and Object development for Illustrious clients over the years including Anish Kapoor, Swarovski, Nokica and Microsoft amongst others.
An experienced tutor both nationally and internationally, Peter has been teaching at The Royal College of Art for almost 20 years, which he does alongside his workshop practises as a Silversmith, undertaking research and commissions.
During the 25+ Years of his career his work has been Exhibited nationally and internationally including at Goldsmiths, V&A Museum, Danish Museum of Art & Design, Saatchi Gallery, Ashmolean Museum, Spazio Rossana Orlandi Milan and many others.
Over the years Peter’s extraordinary contemporary works have won many awards including from; Goldsmiths, Danish Museum of Art & Design, Royal Mint, V&A Museum Aberdeen and others.
