About

Rebecca is an award winning and experienced Goldsmith, whose work has been sold and exhibited nationally and internationally.

A BA graduate of Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Crafts at the Sir John Cass school of Art, Rebecca started her own jewellery business in 2006 and furthered her technical skills through apprenticeships in Hatton Garden, whilst working with Parul Mhera (OAK fine jewellery) and other contemporary jewellers including Angie Boothroyd and Mehbs Yaqub.

Inspired by eroding organic forms, hand carved from wax and cast into 18ct gold and use of precious stones and pearls, Rebecca’s work has been selected for an array of prestigious events including KARA EXPO Paris, Sieraad Art Amsterdam, Royal Birmingham Society of Arts (RBSA), FLUX, London Jewellery Week, Designer Crafts at Chelsea and Goldsmiths Craft and Design Awards amongst others.

In 2012 Rebecca completed a 2-year MA in Design: Critical Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London, her resulting work projects were presented at jewellery conferences worldwide.

Rebecca has a wide range of teaching experience starting in 2009, including as Visiting Tutor at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2011, Diploma Tutor at the London Jewellery School from 2010-2015, Design Tutor at the British Academy of Jewellery from 2015-2017. Rebecca recently achieved her PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and was made a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2019.
